Finding Grace in the Ordinary

Have you ever noticed how we often wait for the big moments before we recognize God's presence?

We pray for the breakthrough, the answered prayer, or the season to change. Yet so often, God gently reminds us that He is already with us in the ordinary moments.

This morning, as I poured my cup of coffee, I found myself thinking about how quickly life moves. There is always another task to finish, another place to be, or another worry trying to steal my attention. It's easy to rush through the day without slowing down long enough to notice the blessings right in front of us.

But God's grace isn't reserved for extraordinary days.

It's found in the quiet mornings, in the laughter shared with family, in the kindness of a friend, in the strength to keep going when life feels heavy, and even in the simple comfort of a warm cup of coffee.

I've learned that the more I pause, the more I notice Him.

Not because He's suddenly closer, but because my heart has become still enough to recognize that He has been there all along.

Maybe today feels ordinary to you. Maybe you're carrying burdens no one else can see, or perhaps you're simply trying to make it through another busy week.

Whatever season you're in, I want to encourage you with this truth: God sees you. He knows exactly where you are, and His grace is enough for today—not just tomorrow or someday, but today.

You don't have to have everything figured out. You don't have to be perfect. You simply have to keep walking with Him, one step at a time.

As you go about your day, I hope you'll take a moment to pause. Look around. Take a deep breath. Thank God for one small blessing you might have overlooked.

Sometimes the smallest moments become the ones that remind us of His greatest faithfulness.

Scripture

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning." — Lamentations 3:22–23

A Prayer

Lord, thank You for meeting us in both the extraordinary and the ordinary moments of life. Open our eyes to see Your goodness all around us. Help us to trust You with today and to find peace in knowing that Your mercies are new every morning. Amen.

Until next time, may your coffee be warm, your heart be encouraged, and your life be filled with His grace.

With grace,

Ana

Hi, I'm Ana

I'm so glad you're here.

If there's one thing I hope you discover while you're visiting this little corner of the internet, it's that no matter what season you're walking through, you never have to walk through it alone.

I'm a faith-inspired author, speaker, and encourager with a passion for helping women find hope, healing, and peace through life's challenges. My faith has carried me through seasons of joy, loss, waiting, and unexpected turns, and those experiences have shaped both my life and my writing.

I wrote Always Enough because I wanted to share my story honestly—the struggles, the healing, and the incredible faithfulness of God through it all. My prayer is that every reader walks away encouraged, knowing they are deeply loved and never beyond God's grace.

Here on my website, you'll find more than books. Through Coffee & Grace, I share reflections, devotionals, and practical encouragement for everyday life. Whether you're looking for hope, a reminder of God's promises, or simply a quiet place to pause for a few minutes, I hope you'll feel at home here.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand, spending time with my family, working on a quilting project, or enjoying the beauty of God's creation. I believe some of life's sweetest moments happen in the ordinary, where God gently reminds us that His grace is more than enough.

Thank you for being here and allowing me to be part of your journey. I hope you'll stay awhile, explore, and come back often.

Grace & Peace,

Ana Hale
