You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

There’s something about sitting down with a cup of coffee and finally having a quiet moment that makes you think about life a little differently.

Today, I’ve been thinking about how much pressure we put on ourselves to have everything figured out.

We want to know what’s next. We wonder if we’re making the right decisions, if the things we’re working toward will actually work out, and sometimes why everyone else seems so much further ahead.

But I’m learning that life with God isn’t always about knowing what comes next.

Sometimes it’s simply about trusting Him with the day right in front of us.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

I have dreams in my heart, things I’m praying about, and questions I don’t have answers to yet.

And maybe that’s okay.

I don’t need the entire plan. I just need enough faith for the next step.

Sometimes we’re so focused on the big moments that we miss the grace tucked inside the ordinary ones—a cup of coffee, a conversation with someone we love, an unexpected laugh, or simply another opportunity to try again tomorrow.

There is grace there too.

So today, I’m reminding myself of something I hope you’ll remember too:

You don’t have to have everything figured out.

Take the next step. Love the people around you. Thank God for the little things. And trust Him with everything you can’t see yet.

There will be another cup of coffee tomorrow.

And there will be grace waiting there too.

A Little Prayer

Lord, help me appreciate what You’ve given me today instead of worrying about tomorrow. Give me peace for what I can’t control, wisdom for my next step, and faith to trust You with the rest. Amen.

Until next time, grab your coffee and hold onto grace.

Hi, I'm Ana

I'm so glad you're here.

If there's one thing I hope you discover while you're visiting this little corner of the internet, it's that no matter what season you're walking through, you never have to walk through it alone.

I'm a faith-inspired author, speaker, and encourager with a passion for helping women find hope, healing, and peace through life's challenges. My faith has carried me through seasons of joy, loss, waiting, and unexpected turns, and those experiences have shaped both my life and my writing.

I wrote Always Enough because I wanted to share my story honestly—the struggles, the healing, and the incredible faithfulness of God through it all. My prayer is that every reader walks away encouraged, knowing they are deeply loved and never beyond God's grace.

Here on my website, you'll find more than books. Through Coffee & Grace, I share reflections, devotionals, and practical encouragement for everyday life. Whether you're looking for hope, a reminder of God's promises, or simply a quiet place to pause for a few minutes, I hope you'll feel at home here.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand, spending time with my family, working on a quilting project, or enjoying the beauty of God's creation. I believe some of life's sweetest moments happen in the ordinary, where God gently reminds us that His grace is more than enough.

Thank you for being here and allowing me to be part of your journey. I hope you'll stay awhile, explore, and come back often.

Grace & Peace,

Ana Hale
